The Scout Guard series are an impressive and capable trail camera. Bringing together a suite of desirable features into a compact package, at a very cost effective price.
Scout Guard cameras are available in both semi covert and fully covert models. With the option of two wireless trail series models to enable images to be transmitted via GPRS email or MMS.
We stock only the latest version camera, ensuring compatibility with up to 32 GB SDHC memory cards, in addition to improved shutter response and lens clarity.
Shutter response is around 1.2 seconds day or night, while shutter recovery time is a low 5 seconds. These specs are superior to many larger and more expensive trail cameras.
Quality 5mp-12mp colour daytime/night IR monochrome stills, or short video are offered. Illumination is by IR LED no-flash technology. Sensing (to 10 metres) is via an internal PIR sensor.
Battery life is truly impressive, enabling several months’ operation on a single set of AA batteries.

SG550V
The Scout Guard SG550V / DTC530V is an impressive and capable trail camera, bringing together a suite of desirable features into a compact package, at a very cost effective price.
With this model, the remote control doubles as a small picture viewing screen. Alternatively, we can supply an optional 9cm (3.5”) viewing screen enabling quick confirmation of image composition and positioning in greater detail while in the field.
